This review is a bit late but nevertheless the sentiments are real. Overall a great place to stay! More Show less Nice strong jets in the large Jacuzzi which is limited to use by guests 16 and over. The pool area is large and very relaxing. South Point has reasonable rates, a large variety of restaurants and entertainment as well as loose enough slot machines that you actually get to play for a while on a great variety of machines.

We do not like to stay on the strip because of the crowds and prices. Try the filet sliders, they are very tasty. The buffet is always good and the coffee shop is unusual for a casino because of the large variety of selections at reasonable prices. You would never know you are in a casino-no smoke and no noise. Don Vito's has wonderful food and service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The in room coffee and tea are welcome since we are early risers. The rooms are large, quiet and always clean. South Point has everything we need in a hotel when we want to relax and do some shopping in Las Vegas (we live in Mesquite, NV 80 miles away).
